Delete Your Lecturer Account

You can delete your BrainyKids lecturer account at any time on the lecturer portal website.

Delete on the Website

1. Sign in to the lecturer portal.
2. Open the Profile page.
3. Choose Delete Profile.
4. Enter the verification code we email to your registered email address to confirm.

What Happens After You Delete

• Immediately: your account is deactivated. You are signed out of all devices and can no longer sign in or reset your password. We email a confirmation to your registered email address. Your mobile number and email address stay linked to the deleted account, so they can't be used to register a new account.
• After that: your data is kept, and the account can be restored if you contact us. After a restore, we email you instructions to set a new password using "Forgot password".
• Permanent deletion: lecturer accounts are not permanently deleted automatically. If you want your account permanently deleted, contact us and we will do it for you. It cannot be restored after this point.

What Is Deleted

When your account is permanently deleted, we remove:

• Your sign-in details
• Your contact and identity details, including your email address, mobile number, national ID and age
• Your notifications
• Verification codes and other security records linked to your account

What Is Kept

Lecturer payouts are calculated from your courses and the paid enrollments in them. To meet our accounting and legal obligations and to keep course and payout records accurate, we keep the following after your account is deleted:

• Your name, lecturer ID, revenue share and bank details, as a record for payouts
• Your courses and their content
• Records of course enrollments and payments

Can't Sign In?

If you can't sign in to the lecturer portal, or you want a deleted account restored or permanently deleted, please contact us from your registered email address and include your registered mobile number. We will verify the request and delete or restore your account for you.
